Members from the U.S. Army Medical Directorate - Armed Forces Research Institute of Medical Sciences celebrated 61 years of partnership with the Royal Thai Army, during a sacred worship ceremony at Phramongkutklao Hospital, Phayathai Palace on June 6, 2022. Maj. Gen. Thamrongroj Temudom, RTA-AFRIMS, director general and other senior RTA officials joined the event. AFRIMS started out as the Thailand Southeast Asia Treaty Organization Research Project in Bangkok and has continued to evolve by developing solutions to infectious diseases through its robust collaborations with the RTA.
